The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has developed the following physical activity guidelines for adult women:
– 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity per week
– 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity physical activity per week
– Combination of moderate-and vigorous-intensity per week
– Muscle-strengthening activities on two or more days per week
