The impact of the opioid epidemic in our communities has far reaching consequences. Oftentimes, loved ones feel helpless as addiction takes hold of their friends or family. One way to help feel less helpless is to carry Narcan. Narcan is a life saving drug that can reverse the impacts of an opioid overdose. It is also completely safe to use and carry. Preventing overdose deaths can start with a community trained in using Narcan. It can start with YOU. On May 20th, AICA will be offering free training on the use of Narcan to our community.
