Welcome to Mindfulness & Recovery!

In this course, you’ll learn what mindfulness is, the benefits of practicing mindfulness and 3 different types of mindfulness practices. For each of the practices, you’ll learn multiple techniques to incorporate the practices into your day. As you’ll see in the Cultural Connection sections, many of these techniques share core principles with traditional Indigenous wellness practices. We’ll also examine the role of mindfulness in recovery.
